How is a real estate consultant different from an estate agent / realtor or property search agent?
These two types of real estate disciplines serve two different functions in the property transaction. While a real estate consultant is involved more with helping investors make decisions about what to do with their real estate assets, a buyer's agent or listing agent is more involved in managing the day-to-day processes necessary for completing a real estate transaction. However, there's one key element that's missing on the consultancy process. We don't source property assets for purchase.
We use our expertise to help the client decide whether selling an asset or adding more property to the portfolio is a good idea from a financial and economic standpoint. This will be based on studying the capricious currency markets, the stock markets, the economy, the political arena, base rates and confidence, or lack of it, in the marketplace.
Our comprehensive reports are weighted towards market trends at the given time, who's buying where, when, and at what levels. These are in essence micro-market analytical assessments tailored and delivered to the client without the 'buy-side' aspect to our service.
