We were commissioned to undertake a comprehensive research and location brief to identify a commercial building capable of functioning as a truly unique events venue. The primary objective was to source a space that could accommodate large-scale creative and technical installations while offering architectural distinction and operational flexibility.
No restrictions were placed on the country of location, allowing the search to extend internationally. The only fixed technical requirements were an internal ceiling height in excess of 50 metres and a minimum uninterrupted floor area of 350 square metres, both essential to support the scale and ambition of the proposed event.
This open geographic mandate provided full autonomy to assess a wide range of potential sites across multiple territories. As a result, viable options were reviewed and analysed in Australia, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, ensuring a broad and rigorous evaluation process.
